hygiene & safety
Cleanliness? Oh, we’re obsessive. Sterilised tools, spotless surfaces, and Minko’s hyper-vigilant stare (seriously, nothing escapes that mink). We’ve got your back—and your skin—covered.
1
Sterilisation Standards
All needles, ink caps, gloves, and other tools are single-use and disposed of after each session to ensure safety and hygiene. Additionally, we prioritise using single-use items that are eco-friendly and biodegradable wherever possible, reducing our environmental footprint.
2
Workspace Sanitation
Workstations are thoroughly disinfected before and after each session, including surfaces, chairs, and tools. Disposable covers are used to prevent cross-contamination.
3
Personal Protective Equipment:
Artists wear disposable gloves and masks during procedures. Gloves are changed frequently to maintain hygiene.
4
Ink Safety:
Only high-quality, sterile inks are used, ensuring they are safe and free from contaminants.
5
Client Preparation
Skin is cleaned and disinfected before tattooing begins. Aftercare instructions are provided to minimise infection risks.
6
Waste Disposal
Hazardous materials, such as used needles, are disposed of in puncture-resistant containers following strict safety guidelines.
7
Health Checks
Artists and clients are required to disclose any health conditions that may affect the tattooing process.
9
Training and Certification
Our resident artists are professionally trained in Bangkok, Thailand, and certified in tattooing, bringing a wealth of expertise and artistry to every design. Additionally, they are also trained in hygiene protocols and certified in bloodborne pathogen safety.
